ProfileMatilde Ciani graduated in 2020 in Biotechnology for environmental management and sustainable agriculture with a thesis entitled "Microalgae cultivation in urban wastewater: nutrients removal and biomass application". After graduation she won a research grant at the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Forestry Sciences and Technologies (DAGRI) for the study of microalgae and cyanobacteria as biostimulants.
