Research interests and PhD project
Her research interests are host-microbe interactions, from bacterial genetics and ecology to plant pathology. In particular, her Ph.D. project aim to identified the genetic determinants involved in competitive dynamics among rhizobia in the race for plant colonization.
Profile
Agnese Bellabarba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences (103/110) and a Master’s Degree in Cell biology and technology (110/110 cum laude), from the University of Rome La Sapienza. After graduating, she obtained a 2nd level Master’s Currently, she’s attending her Ph.D. in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (Microbiology section) at the University of Florence.
